Cookie Policy
Effective date: August 11, 2026
1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember your actions and preferences over time. Paxaver uses cookies to keep you signed in, remember your language and region, and understand how the platform is used so we can improve it.
2. Types of Cookies We Use
We divide cookies into two categories: essential and analytics. Essential cookies are necessary for the platform to function and are always set. Analytics cookies are optional and only loaded after you give consent through the cookie banner.
Essential Cookies
These cookies are required for the core functionality of Paxaver. Without them, you cannot sign in, navigate between pages, or maintain your session.
- paxaver_access_token — keeps you signed in between requests. Deleted when you log out.
- lang — remembers your selected language. Lasts 365 days.
- province — remembers your selected province or state. Lasts 365 days.
- country — records that you declined a redirect to a regional domain. Lasts 365 days.
- cookie_consent — records your cookie consent choice. Lasts 365 days.
Analytics Cookies
These cookies are set by Google Analytics and help us understand which pages are visited, how visitors found the site, and where traffic comes from. We use this information to improve the platform. Analytics cookies are only loaded after you click "Accept" on the cookie banner.
- _ga — distinguishes unique visitors. Lasts 2 years.
- _gid — distinguishes unique visitors for the day. Lasts 24 hours.
3. Giving and Withdrawing Consent
When you visit Paxaver for the first time, a banner asks whether you consent to analytics cookies. If you accept, the analytics scripts load immediately and a cookie_consent=accepted cookie is set for 365 days. If you reject, no analytics cookies are loaded and a cookie_consent=rejected cookie is set for 365 days.
To change your choice at any time, delete the cookie_consent cookie from your browser and refresh the page. The banner will reappear and you can choose again.
4. Managing Cookies in Your Browser
You can also control cookies directly through your browser settings. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies, block third-party cookies, or set preferences for specific sites. Blocking essential cookies will prevent you from signing in and using Paxaver. Blocking analytics cookies will not affect platform functionality.
5. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when we add, remove, or change the cookies we use. Material changes will be reflected in the effective date above. Your continued use of Paxaver after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
6. Contact Us
If you have questions about this Cookie Policy or the cookies we use, please contact us at support@paxaver.com, or use the feedback link in the footer.
